I had the privilege of meeting Flip at PHWFF's 2-Fly back in April. By-far one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Great sense of humor and everything he says in relation to fly fishing is fire. Absolute knowledge just pours out of him via words and actions. Watching him cast on Rose River Farm's casting pond made me feel like I was stern on the flats boat while he was on the bow down in Florida. The cast was perfect and the instruction was unbelievably relatable and on point. He was able to relate to the vets and their learning style and break down his instruction in a way they would understand. It was unreal.
