Fly Product: Review of the Nature Boy Designs 225 Lanyard

Check it, Keith Westra of Nature Boy Designs and Leland Fly Fishing Outfitters is the man. Anyone who says otherwise deserves a kick in the teeth. Keith was awesome enough to send two of his newest and greatest product, the NBD 225 Lanyard. Not only did he make something just as ideal as his 550 Lanyard, but its more affordable and still gets the job done!

We've been giving the old 225 a whirl and man are we beyond pleased. It can really fit anywhere. I mean, we had it hanging off of our Orvis sling packs, Fishpond backpacks, and even wader belts. Its about a foot in length total, has 3 swivels, a clip at the end, and comes in Blaze Orange, OD Green, or Black. We have the OD green which matches the color of our Orvis packs perfecty. 

The half brother to our popular 550 Wader Lanyard! This little guy puts the necessities at your fingertips. Attach it to one strap of your waders, wader belt, chest or waist pack, kit bag, the possibilities are endless.

In all seriousness, this new lanyard gets a TLTFF 5 out of 5 stars. This thing can't be more legit. Perfect for a quick wet wade or even to pick up the extras that your 550 doesn't hold. I mean, there are some of us who carry more stuff than we really need...I'll admit it, I do. Don't be surprised if you see me on the stream with my 225 and 550 danglin.
