A Review of the Flip Video UltraHD Camcorder...

So I've had my Flip Video UltraHD for about 6 months now but haven't really had the opportunity to use it really other than on my deep sea fishing charter back in July of which I only had the opportunity to film the catch of one Mahi Mahi (and a few of my buddies puking over the side) and the Blue Angels show this past May down here in Annapolis, MD for the Naval Academy's graduation. I realized how perfect it would be for me to start using it to film fly tying and some of my adventures for your enjoyment a few weeks ago but it didn't help that I forgot it on every trip. So now, it is in my fishing gear bag along with its other accessories. Of the few times I've been able to use it, I'm extremely happy with it. The picture is amazing, 720p HD @ 60fps and a nice 8GB hard drive (like 2 hours of video) with a pretty decent zoom. Heres the site for reviews and more info. It comes in at around $200...

The accessories I have include the Gorillapod by Joby, awesome for one-person filming sessions when you need that extra hand that can go just about anywhere and is really affordable at around $19.99.

And the other is the Flip Video Underwater Case which I just got yesterday, I'm super pumped to use it and can't wait to see how the footage comes out. It comes in at around $49.99.

The next trip is scheduled for April 15th-17th down to Bethany Beach, DE again for some Largemouth Bass and Rockfish with my cousin Colin again. Hopefully I'll have time to make a short day trip between now and then, who knows.

Tight Lines...Morgan
