Popper Paint...for Less

So I decided I finally wanted to do something with my popper bodies and tie some flies after class today. I got home and realized I didn't have any lure paint, brushes, or finish/clear coat. I did a quick Google search and found that basically all lure paint (which usually runs at about $10 a bottle) is acrylic. So, being a smart shopper, I ran out to Michaels and found their acrylic paint, ¢.59 a bottle. Brushes only cost $1 for a pack of 10 and the clear coat (which is finger nail polish topper or whatever) was actually the most expensive coming in at a whopping $3. Altogether I spent about $15, I got A LOT of different colors too. Crazy, I know. Anywho, I tied two quick ones and painted them...here you go. Stretch your $, goto Michaels for popper stuff.

Here's the paint...

First one...I know, not too pretty.

Before the clear coat, slightly better...
