DIY...The Car-Side Rod Holder

So, continuing on with the DIY (Do it Yourself) section of the blog, I decided I'd teach you guys how to make a very easy and affordable little tool to help hold your rod up on the side of your car while your putting on your waders, boots, or whatever other equipment stream-side. I call it the Car-Side Rod Holder. I learned this little guy from the DIY section of Field&Stream magazine about 2 years ago and love it. It costs about $5 to make and takes about 5 minutes to make.

Materials list:
-Super glue
-Magnetic tape
-A set of two toe separators (the things your mom or sister uses to separate her toes while painting them)

First, take your toe separators and super glue them together so that the toe gaps line up evenly. Next, super glue (for extra hold) your magnetic tape on the back of the toe separators. Done, the magnetic strip will allow this little guy to sit right on the side of your car and you can use the separator gaps to hold up to four rods. Pretty easy! Heres mine...
